The OCGS Nutrition Month was celebrated from July 13 to 27 through a series of engaging activities that encouraged students to adopt healthy habits. Elementary students participated in a drawing activity, where they illustrated a well-balanced meal, while all Junior High School students attended an activity hour that focused on practicing healthy and balanced lifestyles. In addition, each grade level from Grades 7 to 10 was tasked with creating a chant that promoted the importance of health and nutrition.

To learn more about the event's impact, a few students from OCGS were interviewed. Sarah Chen, a Grade 9 student, shared that Nutrition Month served as an excellent reminder of the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Meanwhile, Edward Philippe Chan, a Grade 5 student, said that he found the activities fun and enjoyable because they helped him better understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy food choices.

Overall, the Nutrition Month was a meaningful celebration that reminded students of the importance of caring for both their physical and mental well-being. As students, we should remember to maintain a healthy lifestyle, take breaks from our academic responsibilities, and avoid overworking ourselves. By taking good care of our bodies, we honor the gift of health that God has given us.
