Grade 7 Build-Up Camp: Bonding and Blessings

The Grade 7 Day Camp was a smashing success! The day’s activities were filled with laughter, meaningful exercises, and unforgettable memories. According to both the organizers and participants, the camp's primary goal was to strengthen the students' relationship with God while fostering closer friendships with their batchmates and teachers.

The day began with a devotion and inspirational talks that encouraged the students to deepen their foundations of faith and reflect on values such as teamwork.

These sessions were followed by a variety of exciting team-building activities and games—a ball relay, a challenge to create pipes using bond paper, and a passing-the-ball game. Participants also reflected on the school theme and showcased their creativity through building a tree from recyclable materials, and promoting the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Classic Filipino games such as Patintero and a reverse sack relay added excitement and encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship.

One of the day's most memorable moments was when everyone gathered to sing Build My Life by Pat Barrett. The heartfelt performance created an atmosphere of unity that truly strengthened the bonds of friendship and faith.

The camp also gave students a much-needed break from their gadgets and virtual playgrounds. The activities allowed them to interact face-to-face, enjoy the outdoors, and build lasting friendships through meaningful teamwork and shared experiences.

After conducting several interviews, it became evident that the camp had achieved its objectives; The participants agreed that they had grown closer to God, developed stronger relationships with their peers and teachers, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Their positive feedback serves as a testament to the success of the Day Camp and its positive effects on everyone involved.
