Statement of Faith
1. We believe in the plenary verbal inspiration of the Word of God; that both the Old (39) and the New (27) Testaments are inerrant in the original writings and are the supreme and final authority for faith and life. [2 Timothy 3:16 & 17]
2. We believe in the Triune God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections.
3. We believe in the eternal existence of the Lord Jesus Christ as God; His incarnation and virgin birth origins; that His death on the cross was the substitutionary atonement for our sins; that He was literally, bodily resurrected from the dead and stands as the Head of the Church and the only Mediator between God and man and that He will personally return to earth.

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts men of sin and regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers unto a holy life; He keeps and empowers believers day by day; and He is the Teacher of the Word of God and the Guide for daily living. [John 16:8-11; Titus 3:5 & 6; Romans 8;1,2,9 & 14-16; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13 & 14; John 14:26, 16:13; and Galatians 5:16]
5. We believe that man was created innocent and pure and that Adam fell through the sin of disobedience. Therefore, all men are corrupted in body, soul, and spirit; and all men need redemption. [Romans 3:23, and 5:19-21] We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. ( Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward an individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture.
6. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27). Gender, as either male or female, is determined by their biological sex at birth. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.
7. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen. 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor 6:18, 7:2-5; Heb 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and woman.
8. We believe that salvation is by grace, a free gift of God, apart from works; salvation requires repentance, a turning from one’s own way to God’s way; salvation is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; all who receive Jesus Christ are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become the children of God, the Church which is the body of Christ; and true salvation will be manifested by a changed life. [Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 5:8-10, 10:9, 10, & 13; I Corinthians 12:12 & 13; and Galatians 2:20]
9. We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth; the bodily resurrection of the just to the eternal abode in the glory of God’s presence; and the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire. [Revelation 1:7, 19:7-16, 20:11-15; Matthew 7:21-23; I Thessalonians 4:16 & 17].
