ESC Vouchers for JHS and SHS
Education Service Contracting (ESC) under the Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE) provides tuition subsidy for JHS and SHS students who wish to pursue secondary education in certified private schools. OCGS is an ESC-certified school, thus, tuition grant is available to OCGS students (Filipino citizens only) entering Gr7 from SY2015-16 onwards, covering 4 years of Junior High School from Gr7 to Gr10. Grade 10 completers who are ESC grantees shall automatically qualify for SHS Voucher Program to cover 2 years of Senior High School from Gr11 to Gr12.
The annual tuition subsidy amount is determined by the ESC Grant released by GASTPE, which is ₱11,000/student for JHS, and ₱16,000 for SHS. The subsidy grant may be subject to change by the GATSPE. The grant is deemed renewed for the next school year if the student is promoted to the next grade level and enrolls in the same school. The grant is terminated if a student transfers to a non-ESC certified school.
