INTRAMURALS
READY TO RUMBLE!

One of the most awaited events by students and teachers alike of Oro Christian Grace School (OCGS) is the annual intramurals or more commonly known as "Intrams". This event gives us time to relax from our busy school life, exercise our bodies, and enjoy numerous sports activities with our fellow students. We are as well given the opportunity to develop teamwork and sportsmanship.

On August 19-20, high school students participated in different games and sports activities such as volleyball, basketball, and even board games such as jenga, scrabble, and chess. Meanwhile, the elementary pupils enjoyed the all-out competition for Pinoy games such as luksong baka, and patintero among many others.
​
The event set in motion the loud chants yelled out by every grade level to kick the week off with a "bang!" that boosted everyone's energy. Furthermore, a distinct rendition by Coach Bryan and select arnis varsity wowed the audience as they did the anyo kata demonstration. The opening ceremony ended with the annual flag raising contest between the high school batches, which the Grade 9 won by a close call and thus marked the beginning of the OCGS Intramurals 2019!

After two days of endless back to back games between batches of the same category, it was time to tally the scores. The winners of the Intramurals are as follows:

Category A (Grades 2-3): Grade 2
Category B (Grades 4-6): Grade 6
Category C (Grade 7-9): Group 9
Category D (Grades 10-12): Grade 11
​
With this, Intramurals came to its close. It was a good fight between batches with memories made during this time. It is certain that everyone is excited for next year's Intrams!
