BUWAN NG WIKA

Last August 16, 2019, the pre-school learners celebrated the Buwan ng Wika at the Multi-Purpose Hall. They performed a special dance and sang Filipino songs in order to raise awareness that the Filipino culture, particularly its language, is important and we must not take it for granted.

After culminating activity at the Multi-Purpose Hall, the teachers and learners moved on their classroom activities where they made different types of Filipino traditional art crafts. The pre-nursery made a flag puzzle, while the kindergarten constructed a wooden bracelet to show how Filipinos are creative and resourceful. Meanwhile, the Grade 1 learners made a mini Bahay Kubo - the Philippine icon for a house - out of the trunk bits of a coconut tree.
